Nestled in the presidential corridor of Boise’s historic East End neighborhood, Roosevelt Elementary School has educated generations of Boise families. Today’s students walk the same halls as some of their great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents once did, creating a rare continuity in an ever-changing city.

Roosevelt invites new families to join its century-long tradition of excellence, community, and legacy.

"Roosevelt is more than just a school; it’s a vital piece of Boise’s history and a hallmark of community. Its location off historic Warm Springs Ave reflects a time when our city was growing and the blue collar and working class residents needed a neighborhood school for their children. The school is named in honor of Presidents Theodore and Franklin Delano Roosevelt - both visited Boise - Theodore in May of 1903 during his presidency, and FDR in 1937. In 1903, Theodore went on tour through the East End and delivered a 90 minute speech just a few blocks from where the school stands.”
